BRUCE EDDY RADIO ESTATE AUCTION APRIL 13 IN CHARLOTTE, MICHIGAN

Last year,  longtime MARC member Bruce Eddy passed away.  His estate consists of a over 70 console and table radios and will be auctioned off by Stanton’s Auctionson Sat April 13 at the Eddy home in Charlotte, Michigan.  Bruce was a fan of the “upper line”  higher tube count mid to late 30’s console radios.   He was a specialist in the Wells-Gardner made radios sold under the Airline and Truetone names.   There are also some Midwest brand 16 to 18 tube radios.   He also had some nice 1937 era Silvertone table radios.  This is a very great collection and it includes some test equipment and general shop supplies.    The auction is being conducted by Stantons Auctions.   See their site for info here
